From September 20 to 23, the Innotrans trade fair is making a comeback in Berlin after a 4-year break due to the pandemic. Number 1 in railway locks, it is only natural that Dény Security remains faithful to this unmissable event in the sector worldwide by exhibiting in the France Pavilion.

Beyond its innovative locking solutions for rolling stock developed since the last edition of the show, the French manufacturer will highlight its ability to quickly provide a personalized response to all projects in the field of rail transport.

Know-how, innovation and responsiveness: the winning trio for truly tailor-made solutions

With over 40 years of expertise in the rail industry, Dény Security designs, develops and manufactures tailor-made security solutions in its factory in Saint Blimont (Somme) for recognized rail transport players in France and abroad.

Thanks to the industrial know-how and the capacity for innovation of its team of technicians and engineers dedicated to this sector, the company adapts to all locking issues. Compliant in all respects with the specific technical specifications of rolling stock, all products are modeled in 3D on SolidWorks, thus guaranteeing work in close collaboration with each customer throughout the design phase.

Whether it is to secure the access door to the driver's cabin, the passenger access door, the technical cabinets or the hatches, Dény Security provides a personalized response to all projects, with a first concept of principle, within 72 hours. Evidenced by the latest solutions that will be unveiled at the Innotrans show.

From tailor-made development to a standard offer

With a wide range of existing products, Dény Security may need to initiate a creation process to respond to a specific problem for train manufacturers. At the end of this work hand in hand with the leading players in the sector, these personalized solutions then enrich its range of locking systems, such as:

  • a mortise lock with latch bolt for partition door cabin which, to equip the Mumbai metro, incorporates a function emergency. This emergency release by operating a handle under plexiglass allows passengers, if necessary, to enter the driver's cab where the emergency exit is located, a specific feature of the Indian public transport network.
  • of a complete family of anti-panic devices which, based on of a single self-locking bolt lock, meets to the majority of the specifications and to all the customer needs. Just change the options such as cylinder lock type (Dény, Satyx Twin), strike (mechanical or electric for use of a badge reader), maneuver both inside the driver's cab (by handle bar or panic bar) and outside on the passenger side. This modularity has in particular convinced Alstom to install it on its Smart Coradia regional and intercity trains in many countries (Italy, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark...).

Our railway products

  • of hookbolt locks for sliding doors equipped with a anti-vandalism function that makes the door bolt inaccessible closed and thus prevents any opening by a third party. With or without automatic locking, their streamlined design facilitates their harmonious integration into new generation trains such as those of the TGV M and the Citadis tram from Alstom.
  • a new generation of exterior hatch lock. Following significant development work between Dény Security, Alstom and the SNCF, it is now equipped with automatic locking at closing and unlocking by central operation (square of bern)
  • ¼ turn locks, hinges and seals present in large quantities in all trains thanks to an exclusive partnership with the Swedish company Industrilas with which Dény Security shares the same values both in terms of design (Made In Europe, innovation) and customer satisfaction (responsiveness, flexibility).

As many novelties as the many professional visitors expected at the Innotrans show will be able to discover on the stand of Dény Security (Hall 3.2 – Stand 400), but also in the new manufacturer's catalog dedicated to its railway solutions.
